Mambo Beach is a beach with several beach clubs and restaurants. You can not only relax here but also eat, store and step out. There are a lot of beach clubs, restaurants and boutiques. So you don’t have to worry about getting bored on your beach day. Mambo Beach has a large promenade and it there surrounded by a number of resorts and hotels. You have to pay an entrance fee and you can rent beach beds there. It is one of Curacao’s tourist beaches and it is a long way along the coast from Willemstad.

 

Little Curaçao

Klein Curacao is an uninhabited island 13 kilometers off the coast. You can get there by different boats such as the Rastamaran, for example. The beach has a beautiful white beach and crystal clear water. Besides enjoying the view, you can also dive and snorkel there. You will find not only fish but also turtles and perhaps dolphins. Kokomo Beach is a beach club located in a bay called Vaersenbaai. This bay is a 15-minute drive from Willemstad. Entry to Kokomo Beach is free but you have to pay to rent a sunbed. The beach is a bit rocky here and there but the sea is still beautifully clear blue. You can have lunch and dinner in the restaurant, lounges or on the beach. There is also a diving school where you can rent diving equipment. Sunday is Family Day, when a live band plays and you can enjoy the best drinks during happy hour.

 

Playa Kalki

Playa Kalki is located at the northernmost tip of Curaçao. The beach itself is not very special and also quite narrow but it is a very nice location for snorkeling. Therefore, you will find the most beautiful fish and sea snakes. There are not many facilities but you can check out the restaurant of a resort called Kura Hulanda above the beach. It is 45 kilometers from Willemstad so you have to put in the effort but it is totally worth it.

 

Playa Marie Pampoen

Marie Pampoen is a small beach with sand and pebbles. The palm trees provide a real vacation atmosphere and much-needed shade. The beach is free and you can bring your own stuff but there are also two restaurants available. It is a real fishing beach so you can also see all the fishing boats. There are no beds for rent but you can use picnic tables.

 

Cas Abou

Cas Abou is a real tropical beach. The beautiful white beaches and clear blue waters will make you think you are in paradise. You will find complete peace of mind and therefore there are few facilities. You can enjoy a massage at a massage hut and grab a snack at a snack bar. Would you rather do something active? Then you can chase a speedboat on a big banana. You have to pay to enter and it is open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
