About this trip
The word IRIE comes from Jamaica and means good/pleasant/cool. So this trip promises IRIE Times! We will gladly take you on the somewhat smaller, comfortable and fast Rastamaran or its twin brother Cool Runnings. Two beautiful, identical Catamarans with lots of character. Within about an hour and a half they will take you to Klein Curacao. With any luck, you may have been able to spot wild dolphins along the way or a sea turtle that is just on the surface quickly gasping for air. On board, you are immediately treated to a delicious cup of coffee and sandwiches are distributed. On the way out we are sailing against the current so will use the engine. If there is enough wind, the sail will be hoisted on the way back and we will make our way back to Curacao sailing as much as possible.
Large parasols are available on Klein Curacao so you can always seek shade whenever you want.
Once you arrive at Klein Curacao, you can find a spot, relax or start exploring the island right away. Throughout the day, enjoy the open bar and don’t forget to ask us for a free goggle and snorkel to borrow. There is more than enough to do. In the meantime, the crew will prepare the delicious BBQ lunch which will be ready around 12:30. After lunch you will have every opportunity to enjoy this beautiful island before we return to Curacao.
- The Rastamaran and Cool Runnings sail to Klein Curacao all days of the week.
- The starting point of the trip is on Caracas Bay. Detailed directions follow in the reservation confirmation.
